Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Mortgage Processor to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will facilitate the smooth processing of mortgage loan applications from start to finish, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and internal policies. Your expertise will help turn members' homeownership dreams into reality while maintaining efficiency and accuracy throughout the loan lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for all mortgage loan processing activities
  • Receive and complete initial processing of mortgage loan applications
  • Obtain and review required documentation and prepare files for underwriting
  • Assist or refer members as necessary

Knowledge

  • Understanding of mortgage loan products and services
  • Knowledge of mortgage loan processing function and related requirements and procedures

Education

  • High school graduate or equivalent

Experience Required

  • One to three years of related mortgage processing experience preferred
  • One to three years of related mortgage lending experience required

Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent verbal written and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and manage work independently
  • Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Customer service focused with a proactive approach to member needs
  • Able to operate related computer applications and basic business equipment
  • Capable of articulating information in different ways
